In late 2023, a significant project was initiated to slurry seal, spray seal, crack seal, and restripe six military facilities across four states, covering nearly 100,000 square yards of asphalt. Each site underwent a thorough evaluation to establish timelines and budgets before engaging CasTech Products, Inc. However, the initial parties were unaware of several factors that significantly impacted both the timeline and the budget.
CasTech worked closely with our subcontractor to develop and maintain a feasible timeline and adhere to the allocated budget despite various challenges. Additionally, we played a crucial role in facilitating the approval of materials, such as sealers, crack sealants, traffic paints, SureFlex, and sand, through a stringent approval process. This involved presenting detailed technical specifications and demonstrating the superior quality of these materials to senior officials, subcontractors, and the prime contractor. Our guidance ensured that the selected materials met the specific requirements for parking lots versus roadways within the project framework.
