A military technology manufacturer engaged CasTech to ready six parking lots for a major onsite event. The assignment combined pavement preservation and repairs with a focused restriping program to improve safety, accessibility, and the overall appearance of the campus before the event.
Project Overview
Work covered more than 21,000 square yards of asphalt and included spray-applied sealcoating, crackseal treatments, extensive hot-patch repairs, and full restriping. The goal was to extend pavement life, restore clear parking and traffic markings—including ADA-compliant spaces—and complete the program with minimal impact to ongoing, mission-critical site operations.
What the Job Included
The project combined surface preservation and localized pavement reconstruction with a coordinated striping campaign. Crews performed crack repair and hot-patch work to remove safety hazards and unstable areas, applied a protective sealcoat across the site for uniform appearance and surface protection, then completed a restriping layout that optimized parking counts while clearly marking accessible stalls and traffic flow.
Challenges on Site
The facility supports mission-critical operations, so scheduling work without disrupting site activity was essential. The program covered six separate lots across an active campus, required rapid turnaround to meet the client’s event timeline, and demanded precise ADA layout and durable patching in areas with heavier vehicle loads.
