We renewed a charter school’s parking area with targeted asphalt repairs, sealcoating, and fresh striping. The project addressed deteriorated pavement and brought a clearer layout back to the campus arrival area.
Repairing the worn areas first
Our crew removed and repaired failed asphalt, treated the cracks included in the scope, and prepared the surface for coating. We then restored parking lines, crossing markings, and traffic lanes once the treated pavement was ready.
The before-and-after views show the change from a worn parking surface to a more consistent finish with clearly defined markings. The repairs beneath that finish were part of the same coordinated project.
Planning around school access
At a school, the work plan needs to account for pickup and drop-off activity as well as pedestrian movement. We discuss those operating needs with the facility team before planning temporary closures and vehicle routes.
For a similar campus, we also review the location of the pavement failures and the time needed between repairs, coating, and painting. That helps the school prepare for each stage and understand the reopening arrangements.
