Pensacola parking lot drain repair with asphalt patching and preparation for sealcoating and restriping

We repaired a failed catch basin and the surrounding pavement at a commercial parking lot where a settled inlet was affecting drainage. The work addressed the drainage structure and restored the asphalt around it as one coordinated repair.

Rebuilding the inlet area

Our crew excavated the failed area, replaced the basin, and restored its connection and supporting material. We then compacted the backfill and patched the surrounding pavement to bring the repair back into the parking lot surface.

The inlet’s elevation and the pavement around it both mattered. Repairing only the visible asphalt would have left the drainage problem beneath it unresolved.

Working within an active lot

The repair sat near parking spaces and underground utilities, which required careful planning of excavation and access. We used temporary work-zone controls and coordinated the affected area with the property team while the repair progressed.

The finished work restored the inlet area and the pavement leading toward it, giving the property a more usable drainage point and a repaired driving surface.
