We added a clear DO NOT ENTER pavement message to help drivers recognize the intended direction at a commercial property’s vehicle approach. The work focused on making the traffic instruction visible where drivers encounter the lane.
Putting the message in the driver’s path
Our pavement lettering gives a direct instruction on the driving surface. Its size, position, and relationship to the surrounding lane markings are important to how easily a driver understands the route.
When we plan traffic markings, we look at the approach as a whole. A message needs to agree with the entrance and exit arrangement, nearby arrows, and any supporting signs.

Preparing for a clear finish
Our crew prepares the agreed marking area before applying the lettering. We coordinate the work zone with the property team and keep traffic away while the paint is being applied and until the area is ready to reopen.
On a similar property, we start by asking where drivers get confused. That may be an exit mistaken for an entrance, a poorly marked turn, or conflicting directions between the pavement and signage. Understanding the problem helps us propose a useful marking plan.
Review your traffic markings with us
If customers are entering the wrong lane or struggling to follow the route, contact our team or call (850) 860-0014. We’ll discuss the property and arrange the appropriate assessment.
